Dengue fever, an acute infectious disease caused by dengue virus, has an incubation period of 3 to 14 days, averaging 4 to 7 days.The onset of the disease is sudden, with degrees ranging from mild fever to high fever, accompanied by severe headache, muscle and joint pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and other symptoms. In severe cases, failure to seek medical treatment in time may lead to shock or other important organ injury and death.According to the world health organization, there is no vaccine or specific treatment for dengue fever.

登革热，是由登革病毒引起的急性传染病，潜伏期3至14天，平均为4至7天左右。起病突然，程度可从轻度发热到高热不等，同时伴有严重头痛、肌肉和关节痛、恶心呕吐、腹泻等症状，严重者不及时就医治疗会造成休克或其他重要脏器损伤导致死亡。世界卫生组织的研究报告指出，目前全球尚无登革热疫苗，也没有特效治疗方法。

Since the beginning of summer in the northern hemisphere this year, due to abundant rainfall and rapid mosquito breeding, dengue fever outbreaks have occurred in Cambodia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Laos, Malaysia and other southeast Asian countries.

登革热是由登革病毒引起的，经伊蚊叮咬传播后，以发热、皮疹和全身疼痛为主要症状的急性传染病，通常夏秋季节高发。今年北半球入夏以来，因降水丰沛，蚊子快速繁殖，柬埔寨、越南、菲律宾、老挝、马来西亚等东南亚国家相继暴发登革热疫情。

Cambodia's national centre against dengue fever estimates that there could be a major outbreak in 2019, with a total of 50,000 cases.

柬埔寨国家抗登革热中心主任辉拉功近日透露，截至目前，柬埔寨已发现3.3万登革热病例，33人死亡。据柬埔寨国家抗登革热中心估计，2019年登革热可能大爆发，病例总数或将达到5万例。
