夏天到了，又到了手足口病高发的时期。手足口病是由多种肠道病毒引起的常见传染病，以婴幼儿发病为主。大多数患者症状轻微，以发热和手、足、口腔等部位的皮疹或疱疹为主要特征。既然患病以婴幼儿为主，那么家长们该如何预防以及如何判断手足口病呢？接下来就随小编一起来了解一下！

　肠道病毒EV71感染主要通过唾液、疱疹液、粪便污染的物品密切接触传播，儿童和成人都可能感染，5岁以下儿童多发，环境卫生差、个人卫生习惯不良诱导病发，常引起儿童手足口病、病毒性咽峡炎，重症患儿可出现肺水肿、脑炎等，大部分病例病情较轻，可治愈。每千名患者中可能出现一名重症患者，少数患者会出现心肌炎、无菌性脑膜炎和肺水肿等并发症，严重时危及生命。

　　患儿感染肠道病毒EV71后，多以发热起病，一般为38℃左右。 部分病人早期有咳嗽流涕和流口水等类似上呼吸道感染的症状，有的孩子可能有恶心、呕吐等反应。 发热1～2天后开始出现皮疹，通常在手足、臀部出现，或出现口腔粘膜疱疹。有的患儿不发热，只表现为手、足、臀部皮疹或疱疹性咽峡炎，病情较轻。大多数患儿在一周以内体温下降、皮疹消退，病情恢复。
